You need to stop thinking that you have to deserve things in order to receive them.

There is a societal construct that women need to be more deserving or more worthy to receive what they want. But do you think that’s happening in the world of men? Do you think they’re doing the inner work, the shadow work, to raise their vibrational frequency to call in what they desire? No—they are asking for it with their full chest. Actually, they’re probably demanding it. And when someone tells them no, they go and find six other people who will tell them yes.

Why You Don’t Have What You Want

That is the exact reason why you don’t get everything you want—because you’re not demanding enough. You’re passive, submissive, shy. You say things like “I don’t really know how I feel” or “if you have the time” or “I don’t wanna be an inconvenience.”

Be an inconvenience. Be such an inconvenience that people literally look at you and go, “I can’t believe you’re so demanding.” Yes, you want what you want. Why aren’t you getting it?

Asking for What You Want Stop Waiting, Start Demanding

The Narrative That Keeps You Small

Everything we’ve been taught is to keep us quiet, submissive, and our needs unmet. You start listening to all the online advice and thinking you have to be worthy to receive, that you have to wait for someone to give you permission to get it. Absolutely not. You’re acting like you have to be worthy to receive it when you already are.

What to Do Instead

Start asking for what you want with complete and utter conviction. Demand it like you’re someone who wants everything she’s ever wanted on a silver platter. Not in six months—ask for the thing you want by next week.

You haven’t asked for it yet, and now you’re sitting here crying that you don’t have it—because you haven’t had the audacity to ask for it. So be a demanding person and ask for it.

A Challenge to Try

Say this: “Hi, universe—I want XYZ on a silver platter by Monday at 4 PM.” See what happens. See if for the first time in your life, having some confidence, some audacity, and not waiting to be “good enough” to receive something actually gets you what you want.

You know exactly what you want. There’s an entire list in your notes of all your dreams, aspirations, desires—yet you’re sitting here pretending like you can’t have it. The difference is that some people aren’t worried about asking. They’re not afraid to demand what they want. And that’s the difference.
