Being eloquent and articulate has opened so many doors for me.
People always tell me, you sound so clear, you sound so confident, with some even asking if I’ve lived outside the country before.

I haven’t. But the truth is, it’s not luck. It’s a communication diet.

When you speak with clarity, people listen, you get taken seriously, and opportunities find you.

Since we’re all about productivity, self-improvement, and skill development over here, I’m going to share the exact communication diets that helped me—the four people and two resources that completely shaped how I speak, how I think, and how I express myself.

The last resource might just surprise you.

One

Vusi Thembe Kuo.
When I think of powerful delivery, I think of Vusi Thembe Kuo.

Watching and listening to him has taught me that delivery isn’t just about words, it’s about presence.
He showed me that when you speak, you don’t just share information—you transfer energy.

You can check out his YouTube or his podcast, Ideas That Matter.

Two

Philip Hum.
Hum is a storytelling genius.

He shares frameworks that help make every message memorable.
Because if people can’t feel what you’re saying, they will never remember it.

You can start with this particular video.

Three

Vincent.
Young Vincent changed how I structure my thoughts.

He teaches clarity, how to speak so people understand you, not just hear you.
His frameworks helped me slow down, organise my ideas, and remove confusion from my communication.

You can start with this very short podcast.

Four,

Joseph Cha.
Joseph taught me articulation and composure.

When you compose your thoughts clearly, people don’t just hear you—they respect you.

Now for the resources.

My first resource is books.
Books shape not just how I think, but how I speak. They expose me to new ideas, new words, and different ways people express their thoughts.

Now the last resource is ChatGPT.

I know that sounds funny, but ChatGPT helps me rehearse practice prompts.
It gives me pronunciation guides, and it helps me become intentional not just about what I say, but how I say it.

It also helps me rehearse responses and prepares me for situations where I have to give specific answers.

So that’s basically my communication diet.

You don’t need all of them to start.
Just pick one and go deep.

Don’t forget to save this for later.
